Joys of the Season

We have a new challenge starting this month at the Creative Playground -- and it's a photo inspiration challenge. So much to draw inspiration from with this one!!

I was immediately drawn to the big Christmas tree so I used the Tree With Presents image from Imagine That Digistamp. The ornament paper is also from Imagine That Digistamp, Merry & Bright. This paper pack I use A LOT so it comes highly recommended!! My plan was to include 3 gold brads along the bottom right but I put my card together and realized I totally forgot 'em!! Three little gold stickers to the rescue!! I hope you can join us this month at the Creative Playground for some photo inspiration fun.

Warmest Wishes

How amazing, it's December 1st already!!! And that means a new Ants in my Pantry Digital Challenge over at the Doodle Pantry Blog. For my card I used the Doodle Pantry set called Bitty Christmas. Actually, I had this image printed off and in my Doodle Pantry folder for a previous project that never got done!! I seem to do that often! The background is the stamp set Simply Snowflakes from My Favorite Things white heat embossed then cut out with a stitched rectangle die. Quick, easy, and fun to make. Now it's your turn to join us for our Ants in my Pantry Digital Challenge at the Doodle Pantry Blog.

Meowy Mousemas

I am really on a roll making Christmas cards!! Maybe I'll have enough done to send to all my family and friends!!! This one makes use of the adorable Imagine That Digistamp set called Meowy Mousemas. So sweet!!  I hit up my scrap pile yet again and found just the right papers. Now head on over to the Creative Playground to see what other members of the Imagine That design team have whipped up to share with you today! You won't be disappointed.

Joyful Greetings

It's Sunday and time for a new Clean & Simple challenge at The Outlawz. With Christmas fast approaching, we are looking for yes, holiday cards but with a twist - all white and with 1 and only 1 red embellishment. I think I've pushed the envelope a little bit with this one as my red embellishment is red glitter paper! I did the die inlay technique using the Winter Trees die from Simon Says Stamp. I actually cut it out a third time from white glitter paper for the insides of the trees - made me think of snow. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches, the Joyful Greetings stamp set to be exact. Now it's your turn to join us for a fun CAS challenge over at The Outlawz.

Hello Hello

Saturday means a new challenge at Catch the Bug, and this week we have a photo to pull your inspiration from. Gorgeous in all the oranges of fall!!!!

Here's my card using AKV Fall Wheelbarrow Kids. Yes, this was Bugaboo's freebie Friday last week. I had it printed but ran out of time to create with it last week so I ended up putting it to good use this challenge!! I can't get enough of the Perfectly Plaid Fall papers from Lawn Fawn, they work so wonderfully together! Now it's your turn to share with us what inspires you with the photo over at Catch the Bug.

Freebie Friday

Time for a darling Freebie Friday image from Bugaboo. I can't believe what few wedding images I've got!! That and new baby ones...YIKES!! I started with two papers in my scrap bin to inspire the color palette. I've definitely been using lots more aqua/teal these days too. The heart, after it was colored with Copic markers, got a bit of sparkle thanks to my wink of Stella pen. Head on over to Bugaboo to scoop up your Freebie Friday image!!

Happy Turkey Day

Happy Thanksgiving!! I am so thankful today because my family is all together for a few days of togetherness! We picked Phillip up yesterday from college along with all his laundry!! Oh well, it's just good to have him home (I don't think little brother feels the same way though!!).

Here's my card to say Happy Turkey Day to all my friends. The adorable image is from Imagine That Digistamp and is called Lucky Turkey. He is such a sweetie, don't you think?!! Used several scraps on my card, something else I'm thankful for!!!  For more inspiration, check out Creative Playground to see what other design team members have created.

Happy Thanksgiving!
