A quick card, and one that I got to use pattern papers on...two of my favorite things to do. Looking forward to next month's image!!!

Ahoy

Well ahoy matey!! Isn't this darlin' simply adorable?!!! She is part of the digiset of the month at Imagine That. The set is called My Sailmate. The paper is from a set with an underwater theme that can be found HERE. There's also a Nautical themed paper pack that I just must have to buy as well. Love the colors and designs on that one!!! I'm so glad I got this one done in time, I can hardly wait to see what cutie will be coming my way next month!! Check out all the inspiration using this set on the Imagine That blog.

Just a Wee Little Note

SWAK

Welcome to the latest Clean & Simple challenge at The Outlawz. Our theme this week is a card or project with lips as the focal point. Why you ask? Who knew, but today is Remember Your First Kiss Day. My really big lips are the color version digi from a Doodle Pantry set called Kissy Lips. I cut them out and popped them up on the die cut circle and frame. Quick and easy, especially with a pre-colored digi!! Join us for some lip service over at The Outlawz.

The challenge was "travel" and I immediately thought about this stamp set and coordinating die, Here We Go, from Reverse Confetti. Is this little car not adorable?!!! Seems like I really gave my Big Shot a workout also cutting out the stitched rectangles from Lawn Fawn. So much fun!!! I think I'm getting my mojo back...finally!!

Happy Birthday Cutie Bug

Just a quick reminder post for the SO CUTE challenge going on this week at the Fresh Brewed Blog. I had this image from Fresh Brewed Designs already printed so I put it to use. Say hello to Cutie Bug Ice Cream Cone. I used several rectangle stitched dies for this layout and a bit of scrap pattern paper. That's why this cutie is colored aqua, to go with the paper!!!!! Usually I color an image first then try to find paper that will work with it! For once I was thinking ahead!! Hope you can join us at the Fresh Brewed Blog for some SO CUTE fun.

Coffee Solves Everything

Former SSW design teamie and sweet, sweet lady Jeannie of Dragonfly Journeys, is holding a weekly challenge on her blog. I missed last week's dragonfly challenge but knew I had to play along with the current coffee challenge. I printed up from Doodle Pantry, Coffee & Biscotti. But of course I used the color version along with the digital paper included in the set!! Fun and simple, my kind of card!!!

Sweet Brooke

Things are really starting to stress me out recently and it's affecting my desire to stamp. I struggled to make my card for today's awesome challenge over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2. Bear with me while I take another moment to boo hoo and feel sorry for myself!!!

Okay, I'm back! Our sponsor this week is the delightful Dilly Beans. Go take a look at this whimsical store. Our winner this week will receive 3 free digis of their choice from Dilly Beans.

And here's my card, using the sweet image Brooke. I got a Hawaiian vibe when I saw her and wanted to play with some fun colors. Yes, coloring someones hair teal is definitely fun!!! Sure hope you can join us this week for some Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 fun of your own!

Try Something Different

Our clean and simple challenge this week over at The Outlawz is to try something different, or something we haven't done in a long time. I see easel cards being done all the time, so why is it I have only tried making one once?!! It really isn't that hard either! So an easel card is what I made, using from Bugaboo, our sponsor, Ladybug Daisy Vase. Now I wonder how long it will be till I make another one?!!!!! Join us for some CAS fun over at The Outlawz.

Sweet Happy Birthday

A big hello and welcome to the latest sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2. I always look forward to sharing it with you!!

As you can see, our sponsor this week is Digi Stamp Boutique. Owner and artist Sally Ann has a store filled with such sweet and fabulous images. You really should go take a look at the store of Digi Stamp Boutique.

Here's my card, using the latest sketch and the sweet image from Digi Stamp Boutique, Funtime Dan Set 2. He is so cute and I love him with his adorable companion. I did flip the sketch so to speak, moving the oval image to the other side. It simply worked better this way with my sentiment. Sure hope you can join us this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

I'm submitting my card to the Customer Competition over at the Digi Stamp Boutique blog.

Tis the Season

Today starts a new challenge over at Holly Jolly Christmas. Our theme is Trees and I went with a Bugaboo image (they happen to be one of our sponsors), Christmas Tree Row. I kept it simple, but of course, and actually added some sparkle with Stickles. Fun and simple. Now this challenge runs for 2 weeks so I sure hope you can join us at Holly Jolly Christmas.

You're How Old?

Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the Aud Sentiments Challenge. They are celebrating their 5th birthday as a challenge blog so their theme is a birthday sentiment or the #5 plus a sentiment. I found this hilarious Doodle Pantry image in my "already printed off" pile of digital images and knew I had to put it to use today!! This set is called Saddle Up and boy does it make me laugh! Now it has to be just that right person to send this to, one who can really take a joke!! I meant to put some brads on this as well (my favorite embellishment), but as you can see, they sorta got forgotten!! Next time.

Exercise

I'm having quite a time getting my act together with my cards and posts!! Over at The Outlawz, our clean and simple challenge this week is all about humor. And we're so lucky to have Bugaboo as our sponsor this month. I used this funny image and sentiment, Mildred Exercise - I Exercise. I can so relate to her exercise routine!!!!! Now join us for some very punny creations, clean and simple style, over at The Outlawz.

Hi!

I could not resist this adorable set from Imagine That called Pandas. Of course I used a colored image!! Now I know this little girl is meant to be in a more sitting position, but I saw her as hanging on to the tree limb, dangling and waving Hi! That's why I turned the image to a different position. I love the digital papers also included in this set...black white and green are fabulous together. I thought a touch of red with the brads helped bring out her adorable red bow.

I'm submitting this card to the Imagine That blog challenge - use any Imagine That image. So fun!!!

What's Brewing?

Crazy busy day today, so much so that here it is 8:30 at night and I am just now getting my card posted!! This is a challenge reminder for the coffee or tea theme happenin' over at the Fresh Brewed Blog. I couldn't resist this adorable Fresh Brewed Designs image, Joe and Java. Keeping it simple of course but splurged a little bit with the added layers! Super fun. Sure hope you can join us on the Fresh Brewed Blog for some coffee/tea themed fun.

Celebrate

What a yummy day today!!! We are having a sweet digital stamp release at Fresh Brewed Designs. These sweet images are the kind that will make you say "awwwwww." Here is Lil Sweetie Make a Wish. How fun is that, a smiling cupcake?!!! Be sure and head over to the Fresh Brewed Blog to see what others have created with even more of the newly released digis from Fresh Brewed Designs.

Women are Like Angels

Happy Easter to you all!! May your day be blessed.

I'm sharing my card for our CAS challenge over at The Outlawz. This one takes a little thinking and creativity. Use the first initial of your first or last name to help you create your CAS card. Maybe it's an embellishment or image. In my case, I went with the sentiment. "A" is for Anderson and Angels!! Pushing a bit? Probably!! We have a fun sponsor this month, Bugaboo stamps. My image is Stella and Gus - Marriage - Women Angels. These two characters really crack me up with their sarcasm!! I put to use, for the very first time, my Lawn Fawn Speech Bubble Die. I cut it out a 2nd time in black to provide a little contrast. The speech bubble is also popped up...so fun!! Hope you can join us at The Outlawz for some CAS fun!!

I'd like to submit my card to the Anything Goes challenge at Catch the Bug.

Bee Happy

I wanted to remind you of the latest challenge going on this week at the Fresh Brewed Blog - The Sky's the Limit - anything you see in the sky. Bees fly around in the sky, right?!!! I couldn't resist using this Fresh Brewed Designs cutie, Bee Happy Flower. I've had this image printed off for quite some time now so why not put it to use!! I found the bumble bee pattern paper in my scrap pile too...perfect. It took me several tries on my bow to get it just right that when I finally did, I realized it was covering up the spot I wanted the sentiment to go. So why not pop it up in the middle of the flower!! Simple and sweet. I sure hope you can join us at the Fresh Brewed Blog for our sky's the limit challenge.

Happy Easter

It's April 1st...no foolin'!!! That means a new Ants in my Pantry Digital Challenge over at the Doodle Pantry Blog. Our theme is Anything Goes and you can use any digital image. I used the adorable Doodle Pantry set Easter Birdie. You guessed it, I used the color version because I needed to get one more Easter card made, and quickly! I used the great sketch I found at Sketch Saturday. Now to pop this one in the mail. Get your digi images printed off and join us for this month's Ants in my Pantry Digital Challenge at the Doodle Pantry Blog.

In Loving Memory

I'm always excited for Wednesdays. No, not because it's hump day, but because I get to share the newest sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2. Yet another fabulous one that uses pattern papers...for those of us that hoard it and have plenty of it to go 'round!!!!!

A new sponsor to Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2, we have Deedee's Digis. You can imagine my glee with Deedee as a sponsor because not only are her images adorable, but she offers them in a color version!!! The winner of our challenge will win a $15 gift code to Deedee's Digis.

Because I am so excited for spring and summer to get here, I went with the beautiful set My Life is Blessed.  Yes, that's the color version that I used my BG10 copic marker to add a little shadow around the bird and flower. Around Mother's Day, I buy my hanging baskets and put out my hummingbird feeder and before you know it, they've returned. And I love it!!!!! I've been in need of some sympathy cards lately so that's what I went with here. I sure hope you can join us for some sketchy fun at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.
